Use the street recycling bins for disposal of your bottles and cans.
It’s in the bag – use your own shopping bags. If you have to get a plastic bag, reuse it or recycle it in one of the bins at local supermarkets.
Buy pre-loved clothing, furniture and books from one of Dunedin’s many wonderful second-hand shops. T here are several within walking distance of the campus, including St Vincent De Paul on George Street and the Butterflies Hospice Shop on Hanover Street.
Support organic and fair trade cafes, or cafes that sell Keep Cups.
Buy locally made products when you can.
