International accreditation
Courses in Clothing and Textile Sciences have been accredited by the Textile Institute, the international organisation which monitors professional qualifications in clothing and textiles. After one year of relevant professional experience graduates who have taken Clothing and Textile Sciences as a major subject are eligible for the additional qualification of CText LTI. This qualification is very useful for subsequent employment (nationally and internationally) and for postgraduate education.
