University College has a large number of common rooms and common spaces.
The main common room is located just off the foyer, adjacent to the dining room, and is equipped with a pool table, foosball table and table tennis table. A large screen projector with a SKY television receiver is fully equipped to receive all of the SKY channels. There are numerous tables, sofas, large cushions and areas for socialising. There is a second SKY television projector in the Mark Parker Seminar Room.
Floors in the towers and the Annexe are each equipped with their own small common rooms. These rooms each have sofas, chairs, television, DVD player, sink, microwave, toaster, and continuous hot water. Common rooms in the tower blocks also have an outside balcony with views over the campus and the city.
Each flat in the Unicol Houses has a common room which is equipped to the same standard as those in the main block.
