Excellent study facilities for residents

Tutorial

University College has excellent study facilities for residents. Three seminar rooms are used for evening tutorials and are available at other times for quiet study or group work. The University College Library is a pleasant modern study space with five computers, a network printer, reference books, fiction books and magazines. Comfortable study tables and furniture make this a popular space for residents.

The Reading Room has five computers available to residents as well as a network printer. All UniCol computers are linked to the University's network and have high-speed Internet access. Use of the computer facilities is free for UniCol students.

Wireless internet access is available in the administration and common areas of the College. This includes the Reading Room, Lion's Den, Kowhai room, Library, the Commons, Refectory, foyer and boardroom. Students with a correctly configured laptop computer are able to access the University's network at any time in any of these areas. Where practicable, wireless access is available in bedrooms on a best endeavours basis, but connectivity cannot be guaranteed.
