University College Advisory Council

The University College Council is the College's advisory body.

The Council exists to provide advice and support to the UniCol management, facilitate liaison with the University of Otago and enhance the relationship that the College has with the Dunedin community.

Council members are a mixture of UniCol management staff, UniCol students, University of Otago staff members and residents of the wider Dunedin community.

The Council also has a role to play in University College's ceremonies and formal occasions. Occasionally the Council acts as an appeal group for student disciplinary purposes. Council meetings are generally held monthly throughout the academic year.
