Lauren ensures that content published to the website follows web writing conventions and is of a consistently high standard. She is happy to guide you through the writing process. Lauren also does administration tasks for the office.
Before Web Services
Lauren has a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Otago and a Diploma of Publishing (Applied) from Whitireia Polytechnic, Wellington. She worked for two years as an Editor at the Parliamentary Counsel Office in Wellington editing legislation before jetting off to Europe on her OE. She joined Web Services in August 2010 on her return to Dunedin.
Away from the office
When she is not in the office, you can find Lauren in front of a DVD with her knitting, zooming up a dress on the sewing machine, or on the treadmill at the gym. Having been bitten ferociously by the travel bug, she is always saving and planning for the next adventure. She is studying towards a Graduate Diploma in Linguistics.
