Do you often feel sleepy throughout the day? Or do you wake up in the morning feeling like you haven’t slept at all? Not getting a refreshing sleep can make a serious impact on your quality of life and general state of health.
The WellSleep Centre is a three-bed sleep investigation unit located at Bowen Hospital in Crofton Downs, Wellington. The Centre provides diagnosis and treatment for a variety of sleep disorders. Established by the University of Otago, Wellington in 1997, the Centre provides specialised services to several hospitals and privately referred patients.

How can the WellSleep Centre help?
The WellSleep Centre:
• offers overnight sleep studies for a range of sleep disorders
• accepts referrals from specialist physicians and surgeons
• carries out Continuous Positive Airway (CPAP) therapy for patients suffering from sleep apnoea
• undertakes a range of research, including projects involving the use of CPAP and AutoPAP therapy for sleep apnoea patients and the use commercial products to aid sleep.
