Referrals to the WellSleep Centre
If you would like to have a sleep study at the WellSleep Centre, you will need a specialist doctor or surgeon associated with the WellSleep Centre, to refer you.
- See your family doctor in the first instance. They will be able to provide advice and a specialist referral if required.
- Your family doctor may be able to refer you to the WellSleep Centre through your local District Health Board hospital, but this will depend on where you live.
- There may be a charge for your sleep study. Charges range from $460 - $1395, depending on the type of test your specialist recommends. If you are eligible for a study through your local hospital there may be no charge.
