Postgraduate Certificate and Diploma in Medical Technology
WellSleep runs the Sleep component of :
the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Technology (PGCertMedTech) and the
Diploma in Medical Technology (PGDipMedTech) in conjunction with the Department of Surgery and Anaesthesia, University of Otago, Wellington.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Technology is specifically aimed at those just starting, or wishing to start, work as medical technicians in the fields of sleep, cardiology or respiratory medicine. The program consists of two papers taken over one year of part-time study. The Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Technology consists of a further two papers providing focused training for the technologist and is currently available for sleep medicine and cardiology technologists. A Master of Medical Technology programme is in development.
