Research Interests:
- The behavioural ecology of birds and mammals, especially sexual selection
and kin selection. Interests include: mate choice in seabirds, behavioural
rhythms, primate sociobiology, foraging ecology, physiology and behaviour
in penguins and seals.
Current Projects:
- Brood reduction in crested and Yellow-eyed penguins
- Foraging behaviour of Snares and Fiordland penguins
- Maternal investment and foraging of Weddell seals
