Te Rōpū
Kia ora koutou, Te Rōpū is the colloquial name for the Department of Zoology's Rōpū Kaitiaki a Pouhere Tangata.
We are a group of Departmental staff and students that meet regularly to spearhead our Treaty of Waitangi response in teaching, administration, research and community service. We work alongside our Pouhere Tangata, who guides us on issues of Māoritanga and biculturalism.
You are welcome to attend our meetings. Our meeting dates for 2011 are:

- 28 July
- 8 September
- 27 October
All meeting are at 9am in the Mitchell seminar room unless indicated otherwise.

Te Tiaki Mahinga Kai
Zoology staff and students are contributing to Te Tiaki Mahinga Kai, a cross-cultural research programme to simultaneously promote environmental and cultural health throughout Aotearoa.
