We all use search the internet without shame or fear of embarrassment to answer for all sorts of questions, but do smartphones and their digital assistants offer quality sexual health advice? To find out we jumped into bed (albeit independently), pulled out our smartphones, and asked Siri and Google Assistant. We then compared their answers with a laptop-based Google search. The results&hellip;..? Well, come along and find out about Gwyneth's jade eggs, holidaying in Cornwall and other sexual health mysteries. SpeakersProfessor Nick Wilson, Department of Public Health & Dr Jane MacDonald, Department of O&G, University of Otago Wellington Nick is an epidemiologist and co-Director of BODE3 &ndash; a HRC-funded programme that estimates the health and cost impacts of health sector interventions. Nick previously worked in the field of surveillance of sexually transmitted infections. Jane is a sexual health physician, senior research fellow and lecturer. Her current research interest are severe maternal morbidity and HPV and she is involved in several HRC funded projects on maternal and infant health in New Zealand. She was talked into this study by Nick and now knows more than she needs to about Gwyneth Paltrow's vaginal steams.
