Cruise across the beautiful Otago harbour on the 'Sootychaser' from Back Beach departing 9:45am to arrive at the NZ Marine Studies Centre in time for a 'Wild Food Webs and Fishy Feasts' session starting at 10am. 
Find out how local sea creatures adapt to catch their food, avoid predators and stay alive. 
On the cruise you will view the birds that are on the Otago Harbour and receive an insightful commentary from the Port to Port skipper, Rachel McGregor. 
This event has been especially developed for Port Chalmers children to experience the NZ Marine Studies Centre at Portobello. 
The fee includes admission to the event as well as the return ferry trip.
