DESCRIPTION:
Help New Zealand Marine Studies Centre and Department of Conservation monitor the shore with Marine Metre Squared. Add to this important national database and see what animals and seaweeds you can find. 
Be a citizen scientist and earn a Kiwi Guardians Citizen Science Medal for Seaweek! 
We will be spending the session on the seashore. Don't forget to bring sturdy and waterproof footwear and clothing for being outdoors, near water and on the rocky shore. 
In the case of bad weather, a modified programme will be offered on the same day. Participants will be contacted via email.
