DESCRIPTION:This prestigious event is delivered by Te Huka Mātauraka in conjunction with he tangata no Puketeraki marae. The pōwhiri is for all new arriving Māori tauira and whānau, and gives mana whenua Kāti Huirapa ki Puketeraki the opportunity to welcome you to Otago in the right way. Due to large numbers of tauira, we will be running two pōwhiri on the day – one in the morning for Humanities and Sciences tauira, and one in the afternoon for Health Sciences, Commerce and Pathway tauira.
