DESCRIPTION:Professor Joan Taylor is Professor of Christian Origins and Second Temple Judaism at King&rsquo;s College London, and an Honorary Professor at Australian Catholic University in Melbourne. Professor Taylor is a leading authority on early Jewish and Christian history, literature, art, and archaeology, with a particular interest in the roles and experiences of women. She is the author of several books, including: Women Remembered: Jesus&rsquo; Female Disciples (with Helen Bond)What did Jesus Look Like?Jewish Women Philosophers of First-Century Alexandria - Philo&rsquo;s &ldquo;Therapeutae&rdquo; ReconsideredPhilo of Alexandria: On the Contemplative Life (with David M.
