DESCRIPTION:This eResearch-focused event is free for University staff and postgraduate students. It focuses on research being undertaken at the University as well as an update on new/upcoming eResearch services: Short presentations by University of Otago researchers, specialist support staff, and some of our Research IT partner organisations, who are using eResearch tools and services to help solve a variety of challenges. Included speakers come from Sciences, Health Sciences, Libraries, Digital Services, and more.Network with University of Otago researchers, specialist support staff, and staff from some of our Research IT partner organisations (REANNZ).Learn about some of the IT services available to Otago researchers ranging from: mid-tier research compute and storage, programming support and training, research impact and support; the globus data transfer service and data management services.RegistrationIf you’re joining us in person, a light (buffet-style) lunch is included – please register by 9am on Thursday, 18 June so we can cater accordingly. This is a hard deadline for catering. If you will be joining us via Zoom only – please still register so we can let you know about any updates and future eResearch events.
