Penseler Room

Named after the first PhD graduate of the University of Otago, our main common room, the Penseler Room, is used for resident meetings, salsa lessons, quiet study, college parties, talks by invited guests and numerous other activities.

It is most popular for watching movies on the big screen in the relaxed company of other residents (Sky television plus blu-ray is available) or, if you prefer, playing an Xbox game or two.

The Penseler Room is also used for giving talks and practising presentations in front of a friendly audience (i.e. your fellow residents!).

"This room makes me feel like I'm destined for a great life, it's so luxurious, you just feel so good being here."
