Upgrading to Master of Business or Master of Commerce degrees
The PGDipCom is equivalent to the first year of an MBus or MCom, and students who excel in the PGDipCom can apply to be upgraded to a Masters degree. If you are considering enrolling in an MBus or MCom, speak to the Head of Department as certain papers may be required.
Admission to the PGDipCom
To be eligible to enrol in the PGDipCom, students are usually required to have a BCom in Finance or a similar degree course, with a B+ average or better in their 300-level Finance papers. Head of Department approval is required in exceptional circumstances.
Additional 300-level papers may be required of students who have not majored in Finance for a BCom degree.
