Upgrading to Master of Business or Master of Commerce degrees
The PGDipCom is equivalent to the first year of an MBus or MCom, and students who excel in the PGDipCom can apply to be upgraded to a Masters degree.
If you are considering enrolling in an MBus or MCom, you should include FINC 301 and FINC 406, and speak to the Head of Department about your intentions.
Admission to the PGDipCom
To be eligible to enrol in the PGDipCom, students are usually required to have a BCom in Finance or a similar degree course (for example, a BCom in Economics with significant coursework in Finance), with a B average or better in their 300-level Finance papers. Head of Department approval is required in exceptional circumstances.
Students apply for admission to the PGDipCom by completing the application form online.
