About the Student Records Office

The prime function of Student Records Office (SRO) is to maintain the academic records of students to the highest standard of accuracy, security, accessibility and permanence of information held for the University in areas of course requirements, final results, and awards, in compliance with programme regulations.

The SRO is responsible for administering Ad Eundem credit, Transfer credit, and Exchange credit. The group also checks finalists for the current year, the accuracy of academic transcripts and, for those students expecting to complete a qualification, their eligibility to graduate.

Student Records Officers are assigned to a Division and/ or School, ensuring that regulations are meet as set down in the University Calendar. In addition, that there is consistency and continuity across the University as a whole.
