Otago University Advanced Science Academy year 13 students from rural and provincial schools taste tested Agriculture at Otago teaching with apples. The Director of Ag at Otago, Emeritus Professor Frank Griffin, Department of Microbiology & Immunology introduced Ag at Otago; Associate Professor Richard Macknight, Department of Biochemistry, spoke on plant genetics; and Associate Professor Pat Silcock, Department of Food Science, spoke on apple testing and taste which was kindly hosted by Head of Department, Professor Indrawati Oey, Department of Food Science.
