Beef and LambNZ visited Ag at Otago to hear presentations from the Ag at Otago Executive Management Committee on agricultural innovation. Presenters were:
- Emeritus Professor Frank Griffin, Director of Ag at Otago - food production and biodiversity. Is it realistic?
- Associate Professor Richard Macknight, Department of Biochemistry - plant genomics
- Professor Hugh Campbell, Centre for Sustainability and Head of Department of Sociology & Gender and Social Work - food production in a residue-free market environment
- Professor Indrawati Oey, Head of Department of Food Science - adding value to conventional foods
- Dr Mohammad Ali Nilforooshan, Department of Statistics - genetics and genomics. Where to from here?
