1869 Conference and Heritage festival
The many important scientific, political, commercial, cultural and medical milestones reached 150 years ago were celebrated during the 1869 Conference and Heritage Festival, which was held in Dunedin between 25 and 29 September.
The conference and festival combined a traditional academic programme with a range of public heritage festival events, special forums and social engagements.

Vancouver, 7 November
The Terminal Club in Vancouver provided a grand setting for our alumni and friends to gather and was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the University’s 150th anniversary. It has been a number of years since we gathered in Vancouver, but Vancouver-based alumni quickly found things in common with each other and enjoyed the opportunity to share stories and memories of time spent at Otago.
