A group of dedicated alumni and friends from across the decades gathered at Alchemy in Wanaka on 21 October and at the Queenstown Resort College in Queenstown on 22 October to connect with each other and with the University, and to celebrate mutual achievements.

New Plymouth and Wellington alumni and friends gathered on consecutive evenings to hear from alumnus and public health expert Professor Michael Baker from the University of Otago, Wellington campus.

Associate Professor Anita Gibbs’ presentation on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD) was the drawcard for the alumni event held at University of Otago House in Auckland at the end of October.

Seeing a flurry of pink was “reaffirming” and “fantastic” for Expinkt™ Director and Associate Professor Lynnette Jones as hordes of staff flocked to go pink for a day in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
