Highlanders vs Chiefs
Close to 100 alumni and friends attended the pre-match function at the Marsh Study Centre, the former Gardens Sports Tavern.
Vice-Chancellor (Acting) Professor Helen Nicholson and Highlanders CEO, Roger Clark welcomed guests to the event. In attendance were also three players who were not playing that night, and guests were able to chat and get photos with them. The Highlanders also generously lent a number of items of memorabilia for people to have a look at including the 2015 Super Rugby Champion's Trophy which will forever remain in the Highlanders' trophy cabinet. As a special trip down memory lane Peter Innes-Jones, former owner of the Tavern, kindly brought the Gardies Limo along.
