Guests thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to hear first-hand from one of the University’s leading public health researchers, and to ask him questions about New Zealand’s current situation and hear his thoughts about what the future might look like.

Guests also heard from the Chancellor, Dr Royden Somerville QC who provided an update on current University developments and invited guests to make submissions on strategic direction consultation document, Vision 2040.

In Wellington, Professor William Levack, Dean of the campus welcomed guests and highlighted the areas of study and research that are undertaken at the University of Otago, Wellington.

Guests at both events were able to speak directly with Professor Baker to gain a deeper understanding about his research into COVID-19.
