Research

Bone Tissue Engineering research has gained prominence in the past few decades because of its promising ability to address a diverse variety of bone trauma using a combination of biomaterials and cells. This approach hence provides a valuable alternative to the traditional approaches like autografts and allografts and has the potential to greatly reduce the operational costs involved in the resent day treatment methods thereby reducing the financial burden on the global healthcare systems. My project involves the development of a hydroxyapatite based biocomposite scaffold for bone regeneration.
