Research summaryNeuroendocrine regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis

Research

Our research group (Grattan Group) is interested in the neuroendocrine regulation of body weight and glucose homeostasis. Specific projects include hypothalamic signal transduction pathways activated in response to metabolic signals, mechanisms of "leptin resistance" contributing to the development of obesity, and pregnancy-induced adaptation in metabolic regulation.
