Research
Tim is a Teaching Fellow / kaiwhakaako in Te Tari Kikokiko / Department of Anatomy and teaches predominantly into 100 level papers.
A local to Dunedin, Tim completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours at the University of Otago. After completing his degree he worked as a Research Assistant in the Centre for Neuroendocrinology, before taking up Teaching Fellow roles firstly in the Department of Physiology, and now in Anatomy.
Tim's research focus is now on enhancing the experience and transition of first year students into university study, and inspiring their curiosity and passion for science and anatomy. As part of this he is looking at the use of educational technology as a tool to engage students. He is also a member of the recently established ASERT (Anatomical Sciences Education Research Team).
