I'm a qualitative researcher, with a PhD in social anthropology. I specialise in bringing qualitative research and humanities into research typically dominated by quantitative scientific approaches.
I am a social anthropologist with specialty interests in health, migration and ageing. I have experience working on a variety of topics and have had the privilege of working with many different groups including elderly people, children, Pasifika, Māori, migrants, refugees, students and more.
I bring a humanities lens and a qualitative approach to any topic, including those typically addressed by the other sciences and/or a quantitative approach. My hope and motivation is to humbly work with others to tell under-told stories, address inequities and grow thriving communities.
