Aquinas College Alumni Functions

Aquinas College hosts regular alumni functions to give past residents a chance to visit the College and catch up with old friends.


In 2007, some Aquinas alumni gathered together at Aquinas College for an afternoon tea while attending the dental school reunion.  During this event Bernard Whittington, a 1954 alumni, kindly donated his original sketch of the College drawn while he was a resident here. The sketch is now proudly located in the main common room. 


In 2008 Aquinas College hosted an alumni function celebrating 20 years of ownership by the University of Otago. The governor general Sir Anand Satyanand, a past resident of the College, giving the key note address. Pictures of the event will be available for you to view shortly.


This year saw the celebration of almost 60 years since Aquinas accommodated its first cohort of students. The weekend was a great success with a good attendance. The key note speaker was Mr. Paul Ferris who gave a wonderful speech to the dinner. Pictures of the event will be available for viewing shortly.
