The Brain Health Research Centre is actively engaged in developing educational links with the community. Our members regularly speak for a wide variety of community groups such as U3A and Probus, as well as support groups such as Alzheimer's New Zealand.

In partnership with the Neurological Foundation of New Zealand, we run the annual Brain Awareness Day in Dunedin, a forum for the public to learn about the brain and the latest neuroscience research.

Our Centre also assists Brain Bee Dunedin, an annual national neuroscience quiz competition for high school students.

We value our contacts with the community. If you would like your organisation to become a partner of the BHRC, or you would like a scientist to visit your community group, please contact us:
