MRI imagesTranslating neuroscience discoveries into treatments to benefit those living with neurological disorders is a top priority for the Brain Health Research Centre. Our researchers and clinicians are involved with all stages of brain research. This includes understanding the basic mechanisms of the brain, to finding new treatments that harness the brain's restorative potential, to testing new innovative therapies.

BHRC mission statement:

The mission of the Brain Health Research Centre is to undertake internationally excellent research aimed at understanding the mechanisms of brain health, disease and repair, to develop new treatments for neurological disorders, to provide international quality training for early-career neuroscientists, and to develop active educational links with the community.
