Associate Professor Graeme Hammond-Tooke is a clinical neurologist with particular interests in neuromuscular diseases and psychogenic disorders. Current studies include repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation as a treatment for neurological disease and the combined use of transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroencephalography and functional magnetic resonance imaging to assess cortical excitability and connectivity. He is also studying inhibitory processes in functional neurological disorders and epilepsy.
Previous studies have investigated the reliability and predictive values of clinical methods used in the neurological examination and functional magnetic resonance imaging in conversion weakness.
