Five members of the Department of Biochemistry's staff won top awards at the Otago School of Biomedical Sciences Christmas and prizegiving function on Monday afternoon.
Associate Professor Russell Poulter won the Commercialisation Researcher award for his work on Psa in kiwifruit, Professor Iain Lamont won the Distinguished Academic Teacher award, Teena Joyce won the award for Research Support Staff (Sustained Contribution), while Darren Hart won the Distinguished Research Support award, and Professor Peter Dearden won the Distinguished Researcher award.
