Family and friends were also invited to the event, which was held in the Biochemistry building before formal graduation proceedings later in the day.
13 former biochemistry students graduate this month with BSc, BSc(Hons), or MSc degrees.
Head of the Biochemistry Department Professor Sally McCormick and Director of the Genetics Teaching Programme Dr Megan Wilson congratulated the graduates and presented them with flowers and presents.
Members of staff Associate Professor Alan Carne, Professor Iain Lamont, Professor Kurt Krause, Dr Lynette Brownfield, and Associate Professor Sigurd Wilbanks also attended the event, mingling with graduands and their families.
Congratulations to all of our graduates, best of luck for your next adventures, and stay in touch!
