The Master of Science (MSc) in Biochemistry is usually a two-year degree. It has a coursework component in the first year, the four papers listed below. The research component spans both years, the second year of the project allowing for significant progress to be made in both the research topic and the student's research skills. It is not unusual for Master's work to be published in the literature.
Students who have already completed a one-year postgraduate degree may choose to do a one-year research-only MSc.
