Welcome to the Otago Business School Technology Services Group (CommerceIT). We offer a range of IT support services to Otago Business School staff and PhD students. This includes a helpdesk that provides all levels of IT Support.
Support services and operations
CommerceIT offers the following services to Otago Business School staff and PhD students:
- Front Line Helpdesk

- Server Management and Administration
- Staff desktop design and deployment
- Application Support
- Systems Development
Undergraduate and postgraduate students (not including PhD and MCom) with technical issues should contact a Student IT Advisor on campus. Student IT Advisors are easily recognisable, as they wear yellow jackets while on duty.

Otago Business School Helpdesk Contact Details
The helpdesk provides a first point of contact for technology services within the Otago Business School. We are here to assist with all your ICT needs, and are able to resolve most issues in-house. Please contact us via phone or email at the following details. If the service you require is not offered by our team, we can point you in the right direction.
We do not offer support after 5pm on weekdays or over the weekend. However, ITS does offer extended Service Desk hours.

Support for Student Labs and Student Desktop
Student IT Help from ITS, supports the student labs and the student desktop in the commerce building. ITS Student Advisors are easily recognisable, as they wear yellow jackets while on duty.

Public Holidays and University of Otago 'closed days'.
No support is provided on public holidays: Waitangi Day, Anzac Day, Easter Friday, Easter Monday, Anniversary Day (the Tuesday after Easter Monday), Christmas Day, Boxing Day. No support is available on days when the University is closed between Boxing Day and 3 January.
