Exceptional PhD Theses

Congratulations to two Accountancy and Finance PhD students who have had their theses classified as being of an exceptional standard. Congratulations to Xinfeng Ruan and Haileslasie Tadele Gebremariam.

A thesis is deemed to be ‘exceptional’ when all the examiners of a candidate’s thesis agree that the thesis is among the top 10% of theses examined.

2017 Prince of Wales Prize

BCom Finance graduate Harry Flett was the joint winner of the 2017 Prince of Wales prize. This prize is awarded annually to the University’s top undergraduate student. Harry was not only an excellent student academically, but was active within the School’s extra-curricular opportunities such as Business Case Competition.
