Who is Te Tai Tuarā?Te Tai Tuara

Te Tai Tuarā (TTT) is an association established to support Māori Commerce Students. The 2022 Executive is:

  • Flynn Rosie: Te Pou-toko-manawa (President)
  • Kaya Tanoa-Kaivananga: Te Pou-tūā-rongo (Vice-President)
  • Trinity Richardson-Dann: Te Pou Pawhera Kōreoro (Communications/Marketing)
  • Jacom Lawrence: Te Pou Ukauka (Treasurer)
  • Katelyn Loose: Te Pou-a-Ruawhetū (Secretary)

Meaning of Te Tai Tuarā

The name describes the combining of Tikanga and Te Ao Māori with good business acumen and commerce graduates who are the strong backbone for our whānau, hapū and iwi.

Te Tai Tuarā Mission

TTT aims to encourage and motivate excellence amongst Māori Commerce Students within the University and the wider business environment.

Te Tai Tuarā offers

TTT provides academic support as well as providing students with further opportunities to become involved and network outside of regular university events.
