Other facilities include the elegant Linton Lounge, which can host stylish cocktails and dinner events for up to 40 people amidst appointments such as piano, fine art objects and an adjacent drawing room with a pool table. Outdoor areas offer a sedate environment with a full- sized tennis court, impressive heritage rated trees and pleasant landscaped seating in an established native bush garden setting.
Carrington operates through the academic year as a University of Otago residential college and maintains high quality accommodation facilities for upwards of 240 people. These facilities include dormitory, studio and villa style configurations, which can be organised to provide a range of accommodation options for conferencing and events clients.
