Carrington provides well maintained rooms for our residents. The rooms are allocated by Senior Management.
What is in your room when you arrive?
Every student bedroom is equipped with:
- Single bed
- Desk
- Chair
- Study lamp
- Heating
- Mirror
- Wardrobe
- Curtains
You are welcome and encouraged to decorate and personalise your room; please ensure that only White-Tac is used when putting items on the wall.
Linen
The College will provide you with a duvet, duvet cover, mattress (and protector), pillow, sheets, and a pillowcase. A linen change service is provided once a week where you may swap your sheets and pillow case for a clean set. (We highly encourage you to do this on a weekly basis!)
Cleaning
Another way we make life easier is by ensuring that all bedrooms are dusted and vacuumed weekly – we also empty your bins twice per week! All public areas (especially bathrooms) are cleaned daily. During the mid-year break, our cleaning team completes a thorough “spring clean” of the College.
We need your help to keep our College clean! Please ensure your room is tidy and that you open your windows every day for ventilation!
Alcohol Free Option
We also offer you the option of living in an alcohol-free residential area. At Carrington, we define alcohol-free areas as an area where you are unable to store or consume alcohol.
