Centre staff to deliver keynote talk at US symposium

Thursday 6 June 2013 4:51pm

The Centre for Sustainability's Janet Stephenson, Rebecca Ford and Sara Walton will deliver a keynote talk at the Garrison Institute's Climate, Mind and Behavior (CMB) Symposium in New York this month. The two-hour seminar is titled Interdisciplinarity in action: Energy Cultures as a concept, a framework and an organising principle. Dr Ford is also on the Leadership Council for the Garrison's CMB Program, which is one of three environmental symposia that the Institute is hosting as part of their annual programme.

In conjunction with the presentation, photographer Dave Pearce will hold an exhibition on June 11 illustrating the work of the centre. The exhibition will include photographs of the landscapes in which the research is being carried out, mixed in with some behind-the-scenes studies/work as well as portraits of the researchers themselves.

Dave will hold a Dunedin exhibition of these works later in the year.
