Rochelle is currently working offsite.

Rochelle is working towards completing her PhD at Otago University. Rochelle has an interest in Māori education.

She is investigating how a Māori community is responding to climate change and how they are building environmental resilience. Her research examines Māori community leadership and Māori community engagement.

Rochelle has 14 years teaching experience. Her Masters study explored Māori girls' educational success at bursary level.

Making it Work: Unlocking Whenua Potential Ahu Whenua Trust: Te Rimu Trust, Te Araroa

Rochelle's research looks at the complexities of Māori land development and land utilisation in Te Araroa on East Coast of the North Island. She is investigating how a Māori community is responding to climate change and building environmental resilience.
