Chelsea graduated from Medical School at the University of Otago in 2017. She spent 20 months of general practice training through the RNZCGP , and is now in Urgent Care training with the RNZCUC.

During her first year of GP training, Chelsea conducted research into the experiences of wāhine Māori when accessing sexual and reproductive healthcare. She is now a PhD student with the Department of Population Health, undertaking further related research.

She holds a part time Teaching Fellow role with the Department of Primary Care and Clinical Simulation.

  • Mana Wāhine and Kaupapa Māori research
