Tania Huria completed her Masters in Public Health with the University of Otago, Christchurch, researching racism within the workplace.

Tania is currently a Senior Lecturer with MIHI, her PhD research is investigating inequities in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) and she is under the supervision of Professor Suetonia Palmer, Professor Lutz Beckert and Associate Professor Suzanne Pitama.

Tania’s PhD project aims to use Indigenous methodologies to improve understanding of current health inequities in CKD and provide possible solutions.
