Professor Tim Woodfield of the Christchurch Regenerative Medicine and Tissue Engineering (CReaTE) Group has been made a Fellow of the International Union of Societies for Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSE). The honour recognises members' accomplishments and their contribution as role models in the field. New Fellows are announced every four years. Professor Woodfield is the first New Zealander given the honour.
