Research focus

Josephine is researching how to engineer complex 3D-printed mesh structures for use as orthopaedic implants and how they can be optimized to mimic the behaviour of bone and encourage implant-to-bone integration.

She is supervised by Professor Tim Woodfield, and Dr Justin Fernandez of the University of Auckland and Professor Christian Puttlitz of Colorado State University.
