Bee BathishBee Bathish was the runner up of the 3 Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition heat held at the University of Otago, Christchurch campus on 25 July 2017.

Bee's 3 minute presentation was entitled, The oxidant paradox.

The 3 Minute Thesis Competition challenges PhD and Master's students to explain their research in under three minutes to an intelligent lay audience in language they can understand.

Twelve students took part in the 2017 UOC heat on including Rebekah Crake from the Mackenzie Cancer Research Group in the Department of Pathology.

Bee is undertaking her PhD at the Centre for Free Radical Research. She is supervised by Professors Christine Winterbourn and Tony Kettle.
